Group Chief Financial Officer

Shoukry has served as Elsewedy Electric’s Group Chief Financial Officer since 2023, where he plays a pivotal role in monitoring the group’s financial performance and investments. In this capacity, he leads the Group’s finance function, overseeing all financial operations, cash management, and investments while driving digital transformation initiatives to enhance financial and operational control. He ensures the company maintains financial agility while proactively mitigating potential financial risks.

Before assuming his current role, Shoukry was the Group Chief Internal Audit & Compliance Officer from 2020, bringing over 25 years of international experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Advisory Services.

In addition to this, his extensive professional background includes managing assurance and advisory projects at PwC and EY in London, where he focused on corporate governance, board reporting, controls, and risk management.

Shoukry earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration in 1999. He is also a qualified Risk and Internal Audit professional (CIA) and a member of the UK Institute of Internal Auditors, with a proven track record in over 15 countries.
