Abdelrahman Elsewedy is the Group Chief Operations & Strategy Officer at Elsewedy Electric and a member of its Board of Directors since 2017. A dynamic leader with a forward-thinking vision, he has been pivotal in shaping the Group’s strategy and accelerating growth across regional and international markets through a series of greenfield investments, transformative M&A, and global partnerships. In parallel, he sets the operating agenda and performance targets across manufacturing and supply chain, and guides end-to-end strategic project execution to convert strategy into results. He was pivotal in building Elsewedy Electric’s data center & AI client vertical, strengthening the Group’s stronghold in the delivery of critical electrical and digital infrastructure. Abdelrahman has also established footholds with global strategic accounts, spearheaded entry into the North American market, accelerated expansion across Europe, and built a manufacturing presence in S. East Asia—positioning Elsewedy Electric as a partner of choice in these markets.

Alongside his role as Group Chief Operations & Strategy Officer, he also serves as Executive Chairman of Elsewedy Steel, Elsewedy Telecom Cables, and Elsewedy Digital, and as CEO of the Electrical Products line of business—roles through which he champions innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. Under his leadership, Elsewedy Electric has deepened its presence in emerging and high-potential markets, strengthened supply-chain resilience, and sharpened its identity into a more agile, customer-centric, and globally competitive organization. A disciplined capital allocator, he prioritizes high-return, de-risked growth and long-term value.

Beyond the Group, Abdelrahman is Founder & Chairman of Kiyaa Capital, a UAE-based family office with ~USD 300 million AUM investing across several asset classes such as direct investments, fixed income, equities, indirect vehicles, and real estate—focused on industrials, infrastructure adjacencies, and technology-enabled platforms with active governance. He is Founder & Vice Chairman of Elsewedy Capital (est. 2016), guiding strategic investments and corporate finance initiatives that support the Group’s growth agenda. He serves as Chairman of Mada Insurance, advancing product innovation and strong risk management in regional markets. He also sits on the Board of Elsewedy Education, supporting programs that equip Egypt’s next generation with skills and opportunities for the future.

He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the distinguished Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
